Dr. Mesghinna was a key speaker at the Oklahoma Tribal Water Summit on July 29 and 30, hosted by Sac & Fox Nation and the Native American Rights Fund. Click here for more information on the event.

On June 11, 2008, Dr. Mesghinna served as a member of the panel for the Fort Belknap Settlement at the Winters Conference, The University of New Mexico School of Law, Albuquerque, NM.

January - May 2008

On February 22 and 23, Wold and Assad, President and Senior Vice President of NRCE, attended the 25th Annual Water Law Conference: Changing Values, Changing Conflicts, in San Diego, CA.

NRCE’s hydrogeologist, Dan Hart, was a contributor to a paper published in January with the Journal of the Geological Society.  The title of the abstract is “Neogene sedimentary deformation in the Chilean forearc and implications for Andean basin development, seismicity and uplift,” and the abstract can be viewed on the Geological Society of London’s website.
